Bachelor and Master theses

In principle, I am available for the supervision of theses in sociology. Theses on the following topics are preferably accepted:

  • Social and societal theory
  • Epistemology and genealogy of sociological analyses of society
  • Poststructuralism/structuralism
  • Materialisms (historical and new)
  • Analysing the transformation of legal phenomena from a social and socio-theoretical perspective

A prerequisite for the acceptance of a thesis is the submission of an exposé (approx. 2-3 pages) in which you present your research question and approach. An appointment will then be made for a consultation (contact: Doreen Molnar, Molnar@soz.uni-frankfurt.de).

If you are accepted for supervision, you are expected to take part in the professorship's research colloquium.
