Current Issues in Finance, a Sociological Perspective by Anne van der Graaf, PhD (MA)

Finance has not been the most obvious object of study for social scientists. The technicalities, its elite aspects and exclusive language make it seem inaccessible. Since financial actors and knowledge have wide influence on current society, social scientists have developed a wide set of tools and theories to analyse financial phenomena.
