Globalization in Transatlantic Perspective
(PW‐BA‐P1; PW‐BA‐P2; PW‐BA‐SP; POWI‐P1; POWI‐P2; SOZ10‐BA‐S1; SOZ‐BA‐S1)
Monday, July 24th—Friday, August 4th

Globalization is happening all around us. We are now more connected than ever before and events in distant localities shape local politics. Never before did we see such a large flow of ideas, information, and investments across borders. These dynamics challenge us to study globalization as policymakers and political scientists ask the same question:
HOW IS GLOBALIZATION AFFECTING US AND HOW CAN WE IN TURN AFFECT GLOBALIZATION?

This course will explore the themes mentioned above in a shared class room together with students from the US. Class sessions will take place every morning from 9am to 1pm while afternoons and evenings are reserved for field trips such as Hessischer Landtag, US Consulate General, European Central Bank, Frankfurt Stock Exchange, and many more!

The class is limited to 16 students and there will be two further preparatory online conferences on the following dates:
June 6th, 6pm / Juli 11th, 6pm
