Focussing on methods of qualitative research, I studied social sciences and cultural studies in Leipzig and London. For this purpose I was granted a student scholarship by the German National Academic Foundation. Prior to my appointment in Frankfurt, I held the position of scientific coordination at the DFG Research Training Group „Locating Media“ in Siegen. Previously, I worked as a research assistant for a project on Blockchains at the DFG Collaborative Research Centre „Media of Cooperation“ (SFB 1187). My PhD research on cooperation in post-production for film and television was supported by the International Graduate Centre for the Study of Culture (Gießen).
In my teaching and research, I’m interested in visuality, materiality, technology/media as well as (creative) work and cooperation.
