Curriculum Vitae - Lisa Bogerts, M.A.

From January 2015 to September 2018, Lisa Bogerts was managing editor of the academic journal "Zeitschrift für Internationale Beziehungen" (zib) (Journal of International Relations) and a Research Associate at the Chair of International Relations and Theories of Global Orders.
In her PhD at the Cluster of Excellence "Normative Orders", she investigated how visual media, especially Street Art, constitutes practices of rule and resistance. In spring 2017, she was a visiting scholar at the New School for Social Research, New York City, USA.

Before her PhD, Lisa worked as the managing director of "Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Friedens- und Konfliktforschung" (AFK) (German Association for Peace and Conflict Studies) and was a Research Associate at Augsburg University. She studied Political Science and Communication Studies (B.A.) at the Technical University Dresden and obtained a Master degree in International Studies/Peace and Conflict Studies from Goethe University Frankfurt in 2012. During her studies and several internships abroad (i.a., Colombia, Panama, Ethiopia), she focused on issues related to development cooperation in the field of peace and security.

Lisa is a member of the Institute for Social Movement Studies (ipb) in Berlin and was a member of the DFG network "Visuality and World Politics" as well as of the AFK board.
