Katharina Kuhn

Katharina Kuhn ist Politikwissenschaftlerin und derzeit als Gastwissenschaftlerin am Fachbereich 03 angegliedert. In ihrer Promotion and der London School of Economics erforscht sie die Beteiligung von südasiatischen Staaten (Bangladesch, Sri Lanka und Vietnam) an internationalen Steuerverhandlungen. Daneben interessiert sie sich für den Einfluss von multinationalen Unternehmen auf internationale Steuerpolitik und die Rolle von Steuerhinterziehung in der öffentlichen Debatte zu Steuerpolitik.

Vor ihrer Promotion hat Katharina Politikwissenschaften, Soziologie und Religionswissenschaften in Würzburg und Taipei sowie Global Governance and Diplomacy in Oxford studiert.

Katharina Kuhn is a political scientist by training and joined the research group as a visiting fellow. In her PhD at the London School of Economics, Katharina studies the participation of South Asian governments (Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam) in international tax negotiations. Further, Katharina is interested in the role of multinational corporations in international tax policy and the impact of tax evasion on domestic tax policy debates.

Prior to her PhD, Katharina studied in political science, sociology, and religious studies in Würzburg and Taipei and obtained an MSc in Global Governance and Diplomacy from the University of Oxford.
