Deep Chand received his PhD in 2024 with a dissertation entitled “Understanding the Escalation and De-Escalation of Conflict: A Case of Citizenship (Amendment) Act [CAA: 2019] in India” under the supervision of Thomas Scheffer.
He has now been awarded a two-year Walter Benjamin Fellowship at the University of Oxford. We at the Chair of Interpretive Social Research would like to congratulate him on this achievement.
