Vita

Kristina Lindemann ist Postdoktorandin im Institut für Soziologie an der Goethe-Universität Frankfurt. Derzeit arbeitet sie an dem DFG-geförderten Forschungsprojekt “Family Instability and Educational Inequality” (DFG-Programm Eigene Stelle).

Der Schwerpunkt ihrer Arbeit liegt auf Bildungsungleichheit, intergenerationeller Mobilität, Familiendynamiken, Migration und quantitativer Analyse. In ihrem aktuellen Projekt untersucht sie den Einfluss, den die Trennung der Eltern auf das Bildungsniveau der Kinder hat, sowie dessen Abhängigkeit von gesellschaftlichen Zusammenhängen. Außerdem hat sie zu intergenerationellen Auswirkungen elterlicher Arbeitslosigkeit, ethnisch begründeten Bildungsungleichheiten und Wahrnehmungen von sozialen Schichten geforscht.

Sie hat an der Universität Tallinn in Soziologie promoviert und war Gastwissenschaftlerin am MZES in Mannheim und an der BIGSSS in Bremen. Ihre Forschungsergebnisse wurden in den Fachzeitschriften Social Forces, European Sociological Review, International Migration Review, Ethnic and Racial Studies, Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies und Research in Social Stratification and Mobility veröffentlicht.
